About Parental Leave Coaching

Certified RETAIN
Parental Leave Coach

Becoming a parent is one of the most significant transitions you’ll navigate. And, one of the least supported in the professional world.

When welcoming a baby, high-performing professionals suddenly find themselves navigating something entirely new. People who are confident, capable, and deeply invested in their work find themselves feeling unsure, questioning their capability. They’re often expected to step away from their roles, become parents, and return as if nothing has changed… when everything has.

I’ve lived this transition twice myself. It was overwhelming to figure out what I needed to know about becoming a mom while also planning every aspect of my leave. I hired a doula to support me in preparing for birth. It never occurred to me I could hire someone to support my professional transition as well.

Since 2022, I’ve supported dozens of clients through the transition of becoming working parents. This work exists to help you move through parental leave and return to work with clarity, confidence, and a plan that actually fits your life.

The Meaning Behind Sage Green

Sage Green represents the intersection you’re standing in.

Sage reflects who you already are: experienced, thoughtful, and capable. You’ve built a career. You know how to navigate complex challenges. You are not starting from scratch.

Green reflects what’s new. Parenthood brings unfamiliar territory, new identities, and questions you’ve never had to answer before.

You are both at the same time.

This work isn’t about becoming someone entirely different. It’s about learning how to hold your established professional identity and your emerging identity as a parent at the same time.
